Field of Women

Yesterday I participated in the BCNA “Field of Women” at the MCG and what an amazing experience it was. A day of celebration, refection and friendship that was second to none. I was joined on the field by not only thousands of women and men who have experienced a breast cancer diagnosis but my beautiful team of trekkers from my Tuscany walk last year. What an awesome group of women they are; they not only inspire me every day but continue to support me and my writing career, I feel very blessed to have such special people in my life. If I hadn’t got breast cancer I would never had met these extraordinary people and been part of this awesomely spectacular event. I have said it before (and I will say it again!) I’m not sad I got cancer, it’s changed my life.?
