What I believe (and things I am currently obsessed with!)
There’s no denying that we all face challenges in our lives (especially right now!) but if I have learnt anything in these past few weeks, it is that we should be filled with enthusiasm every day for what this amazing gift of life beholds us.
This wonderful thing we call life is a gift, that no matter what life throws at us.
This current situation has allowed me to take a few steps back and really appreciate what is in front of my nose. Its always been there, I just wasn’t always looking.
I have become obsessed with the little things in life, the things that in the past I took for granted and paid no attention to. Simple everyday things like spending time with my family, walking my dog and talking to my neighbours over the fence have become highlights of my day.
I am also obsessed (in no particular order) with:
Herbal tea (Orange & cinnamon is my favourite right now)
Decluttering (especially now I have a lot of time to do it!)
Stationary (this is not new!)
Fabric softener (especially the violet scented one)
Yoga pants
Moon cycles
Succulents (they are so much easier to grow)
Sleep insights on my FitBit
Aromatherapy
Sweet potato chips
Inspiring quotes: these are some of my favourites:
~ There are no mistakes, only lessons – Chinese proverb
~ The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself (I wrote that one!)
~ Love is the energy of life – Robert Browning
~ Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions – Albert Einstein
~ Like attracts like
~ If you get stuck, choose another pen (I have a few pens now!)
~ Be the person you are looking for (Amen to that)
Charity shops (the ultimate in recycling)
Smiling at people in the street (socially distant of course)
Slow cooking
Dog coats (knitted ones particularly)
Beanies (especially the ones with pom poms)
