Do you want your life to bloom?
You may or may not know that I am now a full time writer (hola!). I am following my bliss, and I could be happier (go me!)
But I have not been sunning myself on the shores of Sorrento (not that I could anyway with my pale skin, LOL). I have been typing away in a frenzy bringing you all my (witty!) blogs and writing an e-course.
An e-course I hear you say?
Well, here’s the thing. I started to write my third book called “Life Uncomplicated”, and I realised that it was a bit of a ‘how to’ guide. So instead of a book, it is an e-course (yippee).
As you know (or you do now!) just over 3 years ago my life changed in an instant. One minute I was grooving along on life’s path, and the next minute I was wondering if I would ever see my children grow up.
To say it was a shock to be diagnosed with breast cancer would be an understatement, my life fell apart and I didn’t know how to fix it.
I had spent most of my adult life (seemingly) in control and now I was lost, confused, scared, and most of all, I hated my life.
Something had to change if I was ever going to get through 15 months of cancer treatment. I had a huge mountain to climb and I had no idea where to start.
During this time I gathered up a whole lotta stuff, and whilst some of it was of no help at all, a lot of it was.
I had never been that person who sprouted all that positivity stuff, or posted inspirational quotes on Facebook; I was the complete opposite actually. I thought it was all very hokey pokey and I really didn’t want a bar of it.
However the one thing that I did do (that wasn’t hokey) was read and write. (queue “The Leap Year”).
I am obsessed now with the little things in life, the things that in the past I took for granted and paid no attention to.
My world has been opened up and I see things now that give me so much joy that I cannot even believe that I spent years not noticing them. It is often the simplest things in life that gives me such joy. I have opened my eyes and my ears to them and they alone have made the biggest impact on my life.
I feel so passionately about helping other people make real change in their lives. I didn’t go through the toughest road in my life for nothing, I believe that we all have the power to transform our lives.
And that is why I wanted to write “Life Uncomplicated”, my hope is for everyone to live a life of gratitude, joy, happiness, love and laughter.
So stay tuned my friends, I will be launching my e-course very soon.
Big Love
