Love, Family, Laughter

As parents of teenagers will know, there aren’t that many times that your children want to just sit and talk to you, they are generally distracted by some sort of electronic device. It is really nice to just “be”, enjoy being in the present and having grown up conversations with them. I really relish this time, before I know it they will be moving away, this seems to happen in the blink of an eye. I tend to get all a bit melancholy and start crying, much to the amusement of my daughters, they think I am a bit of a sook, and they would be right.
Love, family, laughter; three words we could use more often.
